"Honeymoon"

Our AMAZING honeymoon.
We went to Cancan Mexico, but the night of the wedding we went to
the Capital Hotel in downtown Little Rock.
We had a wonderful dinner at Ashley's at the Capital.

We had chocolates and delicious fresh fruit

In Cancun, we stayed at the Le Blanc Spa Resort (one of the Palace Resorts)
we were so tired and it was rainy and gross when we got there but as we got out of the car at the resort we knew it was going to be amazing.  They ran up to the car and gave us coolwashcloths that smelled like cucumber melon.
They took all of our bags and when we walked into the lobby and were waiting for someone to take us to our room they offered is "Coco de leche"  pure BLISS!  This was the first time we had ever had it but DEFINITELY not the last!  The whole resort smelled so fresh!
Anytime we said "thank you" they responded "It's my pleasure"
This wasn't like any other all inclusive I had ever heard about before.
The service was amazing, it was beyond clean and relaxing, and awesome restaurants!
It was amazing just walking in!

The mirror to the left inside the door.

We loved the Bvlgari bath products!
We have a few small bottles and love using them every once in while...scent memories

This view was one of the many things that sold us on this place!
The room was huge!
We even had 2 balconies!

Checking out the view from the side balcony...it was rainy our first day but we were so tired we just stayed inside and ordered room service

After the rain....beautiful!
One of the many infinity pools.  We spent a lot of time here!
We took full advantage of the swim up bar!
Ready to hit the pool!

This is the life!  Notice the lady in the back...they would bring you ANYTHING you needed.
Inside that little station they even had a small library of books....non of which I read!

Part of the lobby at night
Every night when we would come back from dinner they had closed the curtains, turned back the bed, and put "calming" music on the tv haha

And always left little surprises

Each floor has a butler that is at your every beckon call

Joel....one of our favorite butlers

Another pool (laguna side) and life size checkers

Entrance into the spa....one of our favorite things was the hydro therapy.

this was actually the last part of the hydrotherapy.
1st you went into a steam room or sauna.
2nd you set on the stone seat and put your feet in a bubbling water bath (picture at the bottom)
3rd you got into the jacuzzi which is the closest in the picture
then last was the lit pool in the back.
The left side was cool water and the right side was warm water

The day we got our couples message (after I finished hydro therapy) I waited in this room
for Nathan to finish his hydro therapy (guys and girls have separate sides).
The robe was oh so comfortable and I sipped on yummy hot tea!
**Note - that is not Nathan and I in the below picture.  :)
This is buy far the most relaxing place I have EVER been.

2nd guest bedroom in progress

A few months ago we finally found a home for all the random things I dumped in our 2nd guest room after the move.  Although it wasn't my decision to have 2 twin beds thankfully I was able to find some bedding.  I still need furniture but just haven't found the right things.

Our new quilts are from Pottery Barn are called Providence.
(shhhhh I know I buy bedding for Dillard's but I just loved these....however come next January we have some very chic french quilts coming that I adore)

I have 2 metal shelves I bought for another room that I didn't end up using so I am going to put one over each of the beds.

On October 25th, 2008 I became Mrs. Dean!!!
My colors were black and pink.
I had 8 beautiful bridesmaids

Lindsay Monnahan Woodward - we actually both lived in Arkansas but it wasn't till college rooming together in NYC that we became best of friends!  she is going to visit tomorrow!  Yay!
Leslie Carter Lloyd - my cousin whom I love.  She is pregnant with her first and we just found out it's a GIRL!
Emily Stearns Newton - My oldest friend!  We were neighbors 4EVER.  Played everyday!  We carpooled, built forts, the lists goes on forever.
Rachael Miller - we both went to LRCA for 13 years together.  We were best friends in high school and roommates freshman year at U of A Fayetteville before I went to New York.
Front 4, left to right
Shelly Cain Hoyt - also one of my first friends as a child.  We had to have been in diapers when we met.  Actually she is tiny but look closer in this picture and you will see she is 7 months pregnant with twins BOYs!  What a trooper she was!  William and Jonas were born a month early at the beginning of December...they are precious!
Sara Thompson - We met after I moved back to Little Rock and when my sister and I bought our house she came and lived with us for a year!  Such fun memories...like when we were Road Kill for Halloween!
Me
Christy Williams Lax - My matron of honor and my only sibling!  She got married 6 months before me.  It was a crazy time but we had so much fun planning things together.  She is the best sister in the entire world!

These are a few of my favorite things!

The BEST yogurt EVA!  It doesn't taste tangy like I think most yogurt does.

Since I don't eat much meat...this has lots of protein and it delish!
and no I am not a vegetarian...just picky.
Another great new yogurt..comes in lot of interesting flavors....not your typical taste.
plus OMEGA 3 and DHA
I have been in a toast mood lately and this is awesome instead of jelly or preserves.
The best salad topping, mix with some baby spinach leaves and mandarin oranges...OHBABY!

That is lip smakin' good!
This would win the which one of these pictures doesn't belong, haha
Jackie Spratt cupcakes are WAY better than Sprinkles.
Really sweet though!!
Are you hungry yet?

I loved my dress!  Funny part is that when I went with my sister to look for her a wedding dress she tried this on and since she is a size -0 and the dress was 14 times her size it just wasn't the one for her.  So...when not to many months later I got engaged I ran to Proposal's in Little Rock (where she tried it on) and feel in love!  But being me I had to try on just about every dress at every bridal shop in the state of Arkansas...even driving to Low's in Brinkley, Arkansas (not a good experience at all...pushy people!).  As much as I loved the dress I didn't love the price, so during one of my visits to North Little Rock I came across Jodie Marie's on JFK.  Tina, the owner, is seriously one of the nicest people I have ever worked with....talk about bend over backwards!  It ended up being a great experience except the fact I had it custom measured and the company (Casablanca not Jodie Marie's) made it one inch to short.  But Tina saved the day when we took the shoes to have the heel cut down.

They are in no order because I can't figure this thing out.  I wish I could switch around the pictures after I load them.

Dum, Dum, Da, Dum.......(think really loud trumpet)

This picture makes me laugh because it looks like the cake is eating us not us eating the cake..lol.  To bad my one bite got shoved in my face and all down my dress.

Gigi and Camille were so beautiful!
Bussled (is that how you spell it?)
To bad this is so dark!
My beautiful sister...same parents different hair color, :)
Such a special gift!
Someone needed a little powder...hello shiny face...but happy face :)
My mom was a knockout!

Daddy's little girl

And now the best hee hee
Dearly beloved....
A professional shot
Great image on Casablanca website

And they lived happily ever after.....

Welcome to the Dean's!
Come on In

We just got our new console table a few weeks ago!  I haven't had a chance to do much yet.
The mirror was already there when I moved in.  I am not sure I want to leave it there.
I would love to have a monogram made.

The table can open on both sides, here it is opened half way.

An empty frame haha
I was going to get a lamp but we have no outlets in the entryway.... one thing that will be in my future house.
